Criminal Defence & Injury Photography

Photography in criminal defence cases can be used to show an accurate record of a

Crime Scene, positions of witnesses, & their line of sight, the proximity of buildings or other obstructions, routes taken by people or vehicles, lighting, ground conditions, the position of CCTV and the extent of injuries.

I am normally instructed by legal firms representing a defendant, or in the case of Criminal Injuries, by individuals seeking compensation. Solicitors who instruct me have to be satisfied with my competence as an expert and my ability to maintain strict confidentiality. All work is carried out in a fair and impartial manner and without discrimination on the grounds of race, beliefs, gender, language, sexual orientation, social status, lifestyle or political persuasion.

I maintain accurate records of dates and times photographs are taken and if requested can provide GPS or map co-ordinates of locations from which photographs were taken. Sketch or scale plans can be supplied along with Criminal Justice Act 1967 Section 9 Statements.

All fees are fixed and agreed in advance by the Legal Services Commission, prior to being instructed.
