RESTORATION SERVICE

Restoration is the art of repairing (old) photographs that have been damaged to their original condition.

Using the latest digital technology your photograph up to 30 inches/750mm wide is photographed in carefully controlled conditions to professional standards. Your precious images can even be photgraphed behind glass, without reflections appearing in the final image. All photographs are returned to you in their “original” condition with your newly restored prints.

This service includes all levels of damage, including fading, stains, discolouration, rips, tears, creases, torn corners and changing or replacing backgrounds.

Prints are supplied unmounted, please add £5.00 to the above prices if you require a hand-cut bevel edged mount.

Some older photograph formats differ from modern or current paper sizes. Unless specified to the contrary, cropping will be at our discretion. If you require your photographs full frame, prints will be supplied with a white border on standard size paper.

COPYING ORIGINAL ARTWORKS

This service is intended for artists, illustrators and crafts people who require reproductions of the highest quality for promotional purposes, the production of cards, calendars or giclée prints.

PAYMENT WITH ORDER please.
PERSONAL CHEQUES must be supported by a cheque guarantee card that supports the total amount of the invoice. Cheques payable to “Ian Pack”.

Delivery
Prints are normally ready in about two weeks. Some prints may need additional attention, so please bear with us. Please allow for seasonal variations.

Copyright
Unless your photograph has been taken by Ian Pack, orders are accepted only on the understanding that you have secured the legal right to have them reproduced, we may ask you for evidence of this. Any dispute arising from a breach of copyright will be your full responsibility and Ian Pack cannot accept any liability whatsoever for any such breach.

Liability
Whilst every reasonable care will be taken in handling your originals, materials and discs, orders are only accepted on the understanding that Ian Pack shall not be liable for any damage to, or loss of, the said originals, materials and discs, howsoever caused.

Reproduction
Whilst every effort will be made to make a facsimile of your originals, a perfect match cannot always be guaranteed due to the miss-match of photographic emulsion, paper and film bases or software. If you have any queries regarding this, please ask before we begin your work.
