This one day workshop introduces beginners to the world of the moving image through the medium of the digital video camera. During the day we will cover supporting the camera, focussing, types of shot, composition, basic sound and editing.

If you're thinking of buying or have just bought a video camera or video enabled DSLR and want to learn the basics of good video filming, then this is the workshop for you.

The HD video movie feature of your DSLR will give you a whole new creative avenues to explore with TV quality images and access to lenses and cinema style effects unavailable to conventional video camera users.
